For Amanda

Location

Innocent?
Guilty?
Most have made up their mind.
But for Amanda this is more than a crime.
Her whle life at stake,
and she's not to blame
Fighting for their child
Her parents have gone wild
Their citizens put her down,
Amanda wears a frown.
Tears fall from her innocent face,
She understands Meredith cannot be replaced.
A crooked system gone vain,
they smile at Amanda's pain
An honor student, with beautiful ways
A country with minds full of hate.
Prayers for Amanda,
A fair trial too.
Prayers for Amanda,
courtesy of the red, white, and blue.
