Always Speak for Yourself

Always say something

Because at least when you return to your bed

The memory in your head is of your effort

No of disgracing your own hunches

Tripping over remnants of worth you forgot you had

Not of another moment you'd wish to forget

Not of your surrender

Never let them convince you that

Silence will heal wounds you take

The pain that breaks your belief in self

The only help is expression in its truest form

It changes from person to person

There's no norm for this

To gain satisfaction of self

Be wise and see through those eyes of your soul

You know where to go
