Always My Friend; Number IX

Walking through the corridors,

Looking through the glass,

Stare at the sky,

That ever lasts,

Walking past you my friend,

I say my goodbyes,

You look at me,

With sad green eyes,

You try to stop me,

By using force,

I took you down,

With much remorse,

Days later,

I'm sitting up high,

And looking at the sky,

I look down to see fire,

Who could that be I wonder?

I smile And watch a while

The fire dies down, And my smile turns to a frown,

I get up and go down,

And walk through town,

I look around

And no longer frown,

For there you are,

Standing there,

With bright green eyes,

And flaming red hair,

You turn around and flash a smile,

And I know, we'll be here a while
