All of Me

I hear them.
I hear their agonized cries.
I hear their screams of bloody nurser
I hear their grieving, black hearts trying to pump something sustainable.
All of this I hear while building walls behind them.
The walls that will block everything inside.
The walls that will lock them inside so no one hears.
The walls that force me to listen.
These agonized cries,
These screams of bloody murder,
These hurting and broken black hearts,
All of these I love.
I love them with an unforeseen love,
I love them with an unconditional love,
Because you see,
These I love,
Are all of me.
