All the kids are depressed

Believe It or not all the kids are depressed
They smile and laugh but break when the time comes
Some show it some don't
One girl is the chaser
She's the only one who runs after those in pain
She swallows her hurt to make room to take in the ones who need comfort
Then it all comes back
Alone at last
She wonders what life with simpicity would feel
Her pain, Her suffer is hidden behind the smile that contains untold stories
All the kids are depressed
But they don't know why she's in distress
Her smiles and happiness hide that fact that she's close to edge
She helps every soul she can to make her feel good
Knowing she can make other smile after despair is her happiness
Oh how it burns to see the overview
The fire starting in her mind
To keep her heart warm
She keeps her tears in so no one see's her weakness
She's the representation of strength
Knowing her tears will put out the fire that keeps her warm
Are they all really depressed or do they choose to be?
All the kids are lost and confused
I'm lost and confused.
