All I Need
A child
Curiosity is our greatest trait
I smile as I watch her wander over to me, to others
In this moment, life is more than precious, more than important.
Toddling and babbling, she explores
And suddenly the world is the gentle place it was once rumored
Everything smiles down on her; who could resist such purity?
She trips over her own feet and glances around again from the ground
Large eyes that have yet to know of the dangers, the fears
Innocence in its greatest form.
Her dad runs after her.
