all faded memories

some times there's this one thing you really want

and you want it with your whole being

but you don't want to conflict with anyone else

as if you should apologize for living

then that thing happens

that person notices you

pays a little extra attention to you

but like all extravagant things

it ends...

and you almost wish it didn't happen

as if the mere memory of it makes you so sad

so melencholy

so depressed that you almost wish it away

but then there are times when that memory is the reason you smile

the reason you get up in the morning

because that feeling comes back

and you cherish it

but life tears you apart from your dreams

from your loves

to the point where you get so desperate that you mess up

you give up

and that memory fades

like everything else and your left alone

with half written pages of a book

with half painted masterpeices

and all those past memories torment you

like a bird in a cage

fluttering intensely

knowing that there's no hope

no way out of these iron bars called society

called prejudice

called pride

called vanity

called selfishness

called humanity

and so you get on some small unknown poetry site

and write it all down crying

cause what else are you to do

This poem is about:
Me

Vespertinal

I can relate to this, a lot...

I'm sorry you're in such a rough place right now. Just keep moving forward, because things can get better. They do get better. It just takes time. And you can survive this thing called life. But for now, cry it out, let it out (whether through poetry on some website or another form of release), and then, take life one step at a time and keep going.

cantyoudoanythingright

thank you, really. sometimes i honestly feel bad that i talk about this stuff cause i know that i have a better case than most, and your right, it is kinda liberating to vent through my poetry. if you can even call it poetry, i really just write what im feeling in a way that others can inderstand. and im glad that you connected to it, it's comforting for everyone to find someone who has, or is, going through the same things.
