Aging

Wrinkles

Wrinkle, wrinkle

Teeth falling out, and then falling out again much later

But the second time you have to replace them.

Too warm. Too cold. Wrapped in dusty shawls.

Your knick-knacks don’t keep you warm, and neither do

The shows nobody knows anymore.

Drink milk. Then drink soda. Or water

Everybody talks about it. They also talk

About Coffee. But we all know we’ll just drink prune juice later. Tea, if we’re lucky.

Take your vitamins. Do your stretches, jump around

Because soon your knees will complain and not let you.

They’ll also tell you if it’s raining outside.
