Again

Ezekiel 20

Ezekiel 20:32

32 What you have in your mind shall never be, when you say, ‘We will be like the Gentiles, like the families in other countries, serving wood and stone.’

Satire

Here we go again ... unusual situation

Always the unexpected knocking at the door

Where have I been ... a product of frustration?

Always expecting a little bitty more

Normal abnormality ... dancing in the shade

Barefooted in the snow with blistering feet

So close to senility ... always so afraid

Hungering for comfort faking all is neat

Lucky strike and gambling debts

Stretching one over the barrel

Out of sight and deeply inept

Singing worldly carols
