Long car ride,

Making pit stops along the way,

Picking up souvenirs, 

Blaring the music,

Yelling the lyrics,

Heading towards the beach,

Getting closer and closer,

To the place I call home, 

Where I watched all of the sunsets and sunrises,

Stayed up late,

Watched movies,

Played games,

Went on bike rides,

Walked on the beach,

Ate lots of snack foods,

Tried new restaurants,

Watched dolphins swim,

Had dance parties,

Ate seafood for the first time,

Laid in the sun for hours,

Hoping to become tan, 

While reading one of my favorite books, 

And enjoying the time of my life, 

With people that mean everything to me,

I love with all my heart,

And have been there since day one,

Is what I call,

The best vacation of my life,

The vacation that inspires me to go on more adventures, 

And to do what is best for me!
