Success they say is in the eye of the beholder
But my beholder ignores the fire, recognizes only the smolder
My fire burns a different way and a different color
Because my thinking is just so unlike any other
If only just one person could see the issue at hand
All I need is acceptance, a single soul to help me stand
I don’t want to be a failure; I don’t want to be a bum
