The Abyssal Witness

Gazing deeply, shallow abyss enclosed by oceans.

Dreams of magic, men, and marrow,

Are all believing, never deceiving, brilliant imagination.

Truth be spoken, yet never muttered.

Listen through the eyes.

Black and white, still always gray, perfect imperfection.

Woven with wisdom, it cannot be hidden.

Lightly leading, gently receding,

Understanding waves, hello-goodbye.

Many believe, most can’t conceive.

Thousands of years to quell time’s fears.

Gazing deeply, that shallow abyss.

Stride proudly oceans, glimmer at stars,

Onyx skies exclaim brighter minds.

Peer keenly gentle soul, never refrain.

Gaze deeply, intently, oh ocean’s abyss.
