Some wear their effects
as effects.
I dangle my cheeriness from my ears, and my
cruelty
from my ballsack.

I wear my ignoring
from my little sailor suit;
My libido, my longing, my birth position
all from my tear ducts.

You wear your
sorrow
sympathy
and
apologies
from your lips, with a chain
delicately but obviously
connecting to the shallowness
on your hips.

Others don’t wear any effects,
and I’m jealous.
I wear my jealousy on my aorta.
