2020

2020

Roses are no longer red

Violets aren’t blue

Not to mention global warming

Now there’s Covid too?

Everyone’s lying

People are dying

We all want to escape it

But what’s the point of trying?

Lying, dying

Killing, crying

It’s all getting so

Sickening and tiring

I remember the days

Before Covid-19

When there was laughing, singing, hugging, dancing

Without the fear of possibly dying

Now it’s like a battle field

Everyone’s trying to stay alive

Only the fittest survive

So you either step up or step aside

Roses are red

Violets are blue

2020’s a mess

Don’t you think so too?
