1am Night Terror

I must break the chain You placed on me. I will find my dignity. Though still chained within my dismal den, Some how I will live again. You beat me until I was black and blue; I choked on my bloody drool. You drowned me in an unflushed loo; I remember when you were so cruel. You tried so long to break me down; Only in memories is seen my frown. I will live, to say goodbye. I will live, and will not cry. I will live, my daughter and I. I will live to watch you die.
