From what I've heard,

Your culture is great,

But this is all kind of absurd!

It's been 9 months

And you haven't a bigger fan!

Not coming would have made me a dunce!

Mom and Dad aren't here,

But despite this fact,

The language and culutre are becoming more clear!

Talking to natives has helped where I lack.

 

18 months have come and gone,

Rivers of tears are sure to flow.

Of the people and country I've grown fond;

Is it really time to go?

Friedrichsdorf, Dusseldorf, Erlangen;

All pieces to a greater puzzle.

I wouldn't be who I am without em,

Leaving family is a real struggle!
