Screaming and crying and wondering Why; 

Working and getting to know money and worrying about money, 

Wanting to fly away; 

But learning to drive instead, 

Studying and stressing and Trying to have fun, 

First kiss and holding sweaty hands and Feeling cornered, 

Watching my home go up in flames; 

High school completion; 

Writing, singing, and finding confidence in my abilities, 

Yelling and throwing and destroying just for the hell of it, 

Trying to run and tripping on my own feet; 

Now college; 

Learning to take care of myself and missing the playground; 

Wondering what my purpose is and worrying whether I can live up to it; 

Separated holidays and fighting change, 

Living in my fantasies and being thrown back into reality; 

Everyone comes together again to pick up the pieces, 

Trying so desperately to make myself happy and make everyone else happy, 

Endings, endings, endings, and with them come new beginnings
