I wanted to follow the plan you laid out

I know it was hard everything you did

All the sacrifices 

All the nights

All the working

For the vision to be finished without you seeing the final product

I was in a sunken place living with a deep regret

All I did was fight the demons trying to forget

The walls were closing in all around me I did not want to upset

The ones around me who truly cared

The greatest lesson I learned was Morality

Making the most of my days was important

Only I can control my fate

Resentment had no place

Always stay true to what I believe

Let no one down 

Improvise what I cannot do yet

Turn the flame down when needed
