All about You ...

Psalm 16:11 New English Translation (NET Bible)

11 You lead me in the path of life.

I experience absolute joy in your presence;

you always give me sheer delight.

Wherever I go You are there, but I mostly notice

When I am, where I need to be, beyond my own wishes

You’re always part of the conversation quietly in solitude

As You silently confirm the words common-sense misses

You are the thought most often without me realizing

You direct the subjects, which our hearts most desire

For moments to be different as for us to be the wiser

Proving the hunger for righteousness and truth by fire

Like smiling at the sunset in its perfect-appointed serenity

You open our eyes to comprehend the all-important purpose

You help us to see our hopelessness and vagueness of destiny

That fully rests on You as at times we stumble and murmur

Like with the wings of eagles, we’re gliding in the sunlight

Observing all the busyness invented by rushing-restless men

In the shadow of darkness the intelligent and the faded-bright

Are living and ignoring God proving clueless about now or when

Life goes on and death stays still embracing a state of confusion

All that seems now available appears lost in a miss-focused effort

And now the time seems near for all to be swallowed up in an illusion

Made up in the mind of unbelieving men, who now spread it like the flu
