THE REAL BATTLE OF CENTURIES THAT IS STILL DEEP ROOTED IN AFRICA (Zimbabwe)
they say the battle was because of colour, instead the battle was and still is because of their hunger and thirst for power When the oppressor come to Africa the motive was power As they say a rich man is a powerful man So they want to be powerful with the riches of Africa Our leader rise against the oppressor and begun to fight for us with words in the media Knowing that we will protect them They said they were fighting for freedom of our own kind While they didn't hold any guns but shouting in the media while we are holding guns fighting for them not knowing that they only need power Now they have obtained it 37years later we have no freedom Just like the oppressor they oppress us, our own kind They think that the ways of the oppressor are the right ways to exercise power On the media with their big bellies saying our people are free while everyday we struggle for food and security the policies they make are there to keep them in power and oppress us They kill the education system and our industry and now our kids have no future like us they do not care about us they mock us everyday saying we do not want to work we are lazy How can they expect us to work when they have destroyed our jobs In the mines and fields we work for peanuts so that our families can eat And that's why I say they say the battle was because of colour, instead the battle was and still is because of their hunger and thirst for power and it does not matter what colour or title you hold.
