The same way lungs crave oxygen.

Calling out

To see if you would answer.

 

I remember the first time I touched you.

From then on

My hands only wanted to feel your 

Soft

Warm

Skin beneath them.

 

There were times

In the beginning

When I feared falling for you too quickly.

I would try my best

To slow myself down.

Gravity and hearts
