The truth

No one knows how many galaxies there are, and not many people know the face behind all the history. In hindsight, someone who is strong won't give up, but someone who doesn't know is not unworthy of education...Education to know what it's like....what it's like to be us. To see us you have to know us. To know something and understand something means different things. Hands have touched and created the things that take away, and not brought closer. Books that have a purpose are left waiting on a shelf at home because stomachs are calling for Chic Fila. We hear the call for food sometimes more than we hear the call for peace. Without peace we have seen war. We all watch while humanity slips into darkness and all we can do is watch the rain fall. We watch the purple and pink sky fade to black while we wait for change. We always go back to the days when food was shared and not harbored. We remember when cinnamon rolls were made for all and not one. History had changed like the music we hear blasted from the speakers. We hope for something more. More than the candy and chips we crave when we dont want real food. We want more than warm socks on our feet when the air is cold and unforgiving. In those moments we cherish the thought or being enveloped in warm hugs. Thats what means the most. What are we? We are time.
