Cheers To My Teenage Years

I grew up in a small town
Where everybody knew my name.
When I was young I yearned to live more
and spread my wings and fly away from this place
Looking back that seems crazy
This town has made me who I am

The people, places, and the memories that I've made
it's just a shame that it's gone so fast

I remember
When we laugh til' we'd cry
on your rooftop at night
I'd say cheers to my teenage twars

This poem is about:

I wrote this reflecting on the experience given to me by my friends in highschool.
