My Bedroom Floor

Thu, 11/29/2018 - 18:26 -- Wit

Thank you, Bedroom floor

for being there when no one would

upon your surface, rests my broken heart's remains

within your wood, lie my teardrop stains

I know it was a hard time, so I thank you

thank you,

for listening to my screams of distress, of pain

even when all you had,

was my claw marks to gain

thank you,

for holding me when my body couldn't

when I was most vulnerable and lost

but most of all,

thank you,

for believing in me

and being there when I rose up

new and strong

thank you!!!
