A Leaving Scholar

I really loved you even though seeing you messed up my pride,

The tears is what I tried to hide,

I cannot stand to see your face even though it is one I will not forget,

I hate the way we split

I understand it´s my fault,

I knew you had me out here looking stupid

I am the one to blame for trying to play cupid and get love in your head,

I guess them long conversations did not get through your head

I told you I am tired of being hurt,

You still walked away

It´s like you put a knife in my back but this time I will not stay,

You were never my bae
