Mentor

Coupled with fear and doubt, I muscled up the audacity

Prancing and dancing about, no knowledge of how or where or why

New to me it was, and a danseur I certainly was not.

Surprisingly I was accepted, welcomed with wide arms

A new world arose, a world I much admired, a world I much envied

This world paired with my own, falling into place piece by piece.

Frolicking over all day and night, tapping away with the moon and the stars

Advancing slowly and improving surely, my being became consumed

Consumed by this entity, consumed by this ethreal substance, consumed by this beauty.

I became one with it, as leaves sway in the breeze

This piece paired with my own, to which I will cherish forever more

Dance is my mentor.
