See You Later

Dear Grandma,

What is it like up there where you are?

Are you reuniting with loved ones?

Are you meeting new people and having

a good time by God's side?

I hope you are doing all of these things and more.

Dear Grandma,

My mother, your daughter, still misses you and

will never stop missing you.

She still cries and cries and cries.

I miss you too.

Dear Grandma,

I'm graduating high school soon.

I know you would've liked to see all your

grandkids graduate, but I also know that will never be.

Time continues to carry on for the left behind afterall.

Dear Grandma,

The family you were so proud of is no more.

Instead of supporting each other in our time of grief,

we abandoned each other like it was nothing.

I'm sorry we weren' t strong enough.

Dear Grandma,

I've gone through a lot and I feel like I am so different.

I'v struggled and stuggled and I wish I was as strong as you.

I'm stressed and depressed at times and I

find it hard to keep going sometimes.

But I will keep gong so I can make you proud.

Dear Grandma,

I love you and miss you.

I will always cherish my memories of you.

I have so much more to tell you, but not enough time.

I wish I can give you a big hug, but I can't.

But that's alright, because you aren't gone forever.

I'll see you later, Grandma.

                                  Your Grand daughter, Lauren.
