Let down your fear

There once was a woman who lived in the forest

With a breath taking baby girl .

To her mother she was sweetheart or beloved

To others we know her as Rapunzel

Throughout the girl’s life her mother always feared

That her daughter would grow up and be more than she could ever be

Although the fear didn’t show her daughter knew that her mother was hiding from her

She would shut her up and keep her locked up in efforts to keep her fasad

But over the years her fears would build until mother said enough is enough

She took all her fears and carved them deep into bricks used to build her home

As the bricks to piled up

The fears more abrupt the home got higher and higher

But the mother didn’t notice that her home was now a dungeon that housed all her darkness

Before her daughter’s eyes but not to anyone’s surprise the bricks became a tower

She grabbed her daughter and began to climb to lock her away forever.

She said “ you come from me so I live through you so together we’ll say forever. Kiss your freedom good bye forget about the sky, your freedom will forever be mine”

oh but foolish was she to think of this plan

Her daughters might was stronger than she planned

Her curiosity kept her young and her imagination kept her beautiful

The strength of her mind caused her hair to grow

Flowing long down her back

As her hair grew an inch her chance became slim of ever leaving that tower.

So everyday she spoke all her dreams out loud hoping that the wind would carry them away.

Each dreams would flow in the stream, bustle through the leaves, vibrate in the hollow of the trees until it was heard by a young gentleman wandering the woods.

His curiosity enticed him

He followed the sound until stumbling into his destiny

Rapunzel in all her beauty perched on the window sill saw the gentleman

From the moment their eyes locked onto one another he vowed that he would have her

He vowed to do whatever it takes

So he fought each day to conquer each fear that was carved in the walls of that tower.

The closer he got the more light he brought back into her mother’s heart

Till one faithful day all the fear faded, that day she felt annew

She was given a life

She turned to her daughter who was now embracing the young gentlemans arms

She cried and shared some great advice …

“Rapunzel let down your fear”
