Half our lives we spend in the darkness, The other half we are blinded by the light, All part of what ever god you follow plan, Some spend longer in the dark, as it keeps them safe, Where there others who prefer to stay in the warmth of the light and avoid the dark all together, Do not fear the dark or the light, For in the dark you cannot see the evil, And in the light the evil hides in the shadows, So instead of hiding from what you can't control, Embrace them both head on, And show evil nothing, No fear, No emotion, Stare it down, Then walk on by, It wants you to be afraid, That's what makes it strong, You ignore it, You make it weak, Pointless, Redundant, There will always be good and evil, Each balances the other out, Your job is to keep things interesting.
