Wonderful girlfriend whom I have dated for twelve months.

Enlightened since the first time she caught my eye

Leaping faithfully into a relationship, which I had only once.

Vowing myself to never let her out of my sight

Enveloped my thoughts; she made them freer

Many poems I wrote about her, most at night

One more for her, to our one full and happy year.
 

Nothing else has made me more happy

Thrilled and ecstatic as the memories

Halved between her and me
