You swallow me whole.

Alone, I’m taken from my world

Stranded

Whisked away to a place with no escape

 

It’s not a journey

Not an expedition or a phase

 

Rather a cell disguised as anyone’s desire

Stars, moon, the earth, anything that our eyes can see

 

No matter the time

It’s all captured and suffocated by the darkness

That is my mind

 

Entranced by you and this place

The words, “Always and forever”

A promise

Etched into the rocks and the cracks of my mind

 

This place is secluded, no one can see

Matching our beats to become one

Biased for you, and not me

 

Your Crashing waves

Your Quarreling sparrows

Your Shouting wind

Your Striking storm

 

It’s all disturbing the peace

It’s re-arranging nature

You and me

 

Or is it, you versus me?

Not one of us will make it

Either swallowed by the waves

Or becoming part of the food chain

            The land will triumph

 

 

But wait, the sun, wealth, and colorful plants  

They Look upon us, and not in scorn

Happiness, for the two star crossed lovers

 

Met with a fatal end

Always and forever

You and me 

 

You’re not real

Just a figment of my imagination

Created for the purpose of my survival

 

But the feelings we share

OH, The feelings we share

 

Invisible to the world

But not to me

 

            Not to us

 

The Earth, sky, and sea

Surrounded by sand and a beach

A place only many can dream

 

Yet, there is only one place I wish to be

A place I need to behold

Out of necessity, want, and need

 

The crevice of your heart

Just for me

You see, survival is keen

 

DEATH is, and has been inevitable

And with a feeling of mirth and contempt

I’ll FINally be ready to leave.
