The Sailor and the Sea

Fri, 05/24/2013 - 16:41 -- AmandaG

There was once a wandering sailor

Who didn’t tell her how he felt.

He feared if he did, the sea wouldn’t forgive

And he knows how she would’ve dealt.

She was beautiful, not conventionally so,

and chose her own path no matter the cost.

It wasn’t easy to travel with him but she had never been lost.

It was at this point you see, that the wandering sailor,

decided to make his way back to the bar.

And it was at this point you see, that the wandering sailor

never wandered very far.
