My Masochism
I want you.
You seep into the crevices of my mind
Involuntarily
You possess my thoughts
The way a drug would
To a hopeless addict
I want you.
But you are an invader
And despite the pain
I yearn for the masochistic tendencies
Aroused by your presence
So that I may merely prevail
I want you.
Even as the darkness of the world cackles
At the utterly wretched manner
In which I yearn for you
At the utterly desperate manner
In which I need you
I want you.
In every way possible
I want to love you
Ever so gently
And to grow old
And to wake up with each other
And to laugh with our grandchildren
I want you.
I want the you
That I see in my dreams
The you that seduces me
And then fucks me
Again and again and again
Until the dream is ceased
I want you.
Even as you move away
Even as you want her
Even as you forget about me
The fact is merely unchanging
Even thought it's over
Even though you're gone
