Being a student can be fun, but also crazy

I can see the lifestyle creeping on students when they start to get lazy

For me high school is a roller coaster

It has its ups and downs but I make sure I never frown 

I make sure to always listen to the teachers

I am at every event cheering on the bleachers

Always being there for my peers

Whether its with homework or just wiping away their tears

I like to get involved and try new things

Playing soccer with my team or even joining choir and learning to sing

Taking honors classes can be difficult and can be a bump in the road

But I always keep my mind straight and conquer the work load

To me high school is about good grades and having fun with friends

And I will take that thought with me all the way til the end

Graduation will be the best

But I am ready to move on and see what is next
