I AM MY OWN

I am not broken  pottery

Through which your light can shine

The kaleidoscope that I emit

Is very much all mine

I am not something you mold

As if I were your clay

I am whole

Complete

And past the stage of malleability

I am not something that you can claim

As yours and not as mine

I refuse to be your vessel for however you're inclined

I am a strong

Rebellious

God damned

WOMAN.
