Breaking Walls: The Wall of Hatred

Location

The fight of color, the war which rages on,

Despite the full honor, its crime starts at dawn.

Perfection is wrong, yet it is so right

Knowing isn’t powerful, because of the spite.

To begin the life of color accept it it’s not wrong.

It’s difficult to adjust to the hostility that’s for long.

But as we stand for a pledge of a country so dull

The rights of color are taken away for a life of bull.

If the damage of the law is taken away

The pain may go away not today but someday.

But fight as we might for that peaceful place

We are not losing this war with all thyne pace.

Why do you look so sad, shouldn’t we all be glad

We are not fighting for what we had, we are fighting for the bad

The good and the voiceless speakers, the ones whose rights were said to be meager.

This power is not shared its held by the powerful, not

The most brilliant but the ones dominated by fear and what not.

This fight of color, this war on skin and sexuality rages on

Despite having full honor, its crime, its love, starts at dawn.

When will

The fighters & the ones who hate us, when will they see

Us, you, me, and meep, yes meep, we are the lovers who weep

We keep the peace that protects our country.

We are the democrats, republicans and the damned military.

We are Homo sapiens, so we are human, so we are the same

We protect this country when you feel weak

We are the country when you feel meak.

This country could not exist without us.

We are the lights that guide you out of the darkness.

So what do you say we end this bad war and make good peace?

And for once in our lives learn to preach what we practice and practice what we preach because perfection is the illusion that we teach.
