Her Mask

She wears hers with a smile
Teeth shining bright
Appropriately-timed laughs
And a twinkle in her eye

Little do they all know that
When she gets home
That twinkle drops
And slips down her cheek

She pulls off the smile
Looks in the mirror
And laughs
At the poor girl looking back at her.
