Beauty

Location

The bane of woman’s existence

Is to be beautiful—flawless

Though the beauty they seek is fraudulent

Their perception of beauty nothing but emptiness

True beauty exists not in a voluptuous silhouette

Or the rosy lips of any maiden fair

True beauty is something that one cannot forget

True beauty is wondrous and rare

Beauty is the smile of a newborn

It is a married couple’s first kiss

Can be found in a desert sunrise forlorn

And an aged couple full of loving bliss

Women strive to be beautiful so why do they not know—

Beauty hides in rare moments, not cosmetics so low.
