A Cry for Help

Tue, 05/13/2014 - 20:52 -- roxtra

Locked in a cage, never know when I'll be free
trapped in a life full of cruelty

My baby was torn from me, right out of my grip
How could I ever have let him slip?

He's off to a truck, loaded with others
Baby cows, without their mothers

The meat and dairy industry brought my life to this
Being happy and free, that's what I will miss.

My life will end when I'm "spent", just so you can drink my milk
It should have gone to my child, and that's what makes me ill.

So keep thinking it's a personal choice, not to be vegan
But it's not personal anymore, you're forgetting someone.
