Fading Faith

I am a basketball player and a softball player.
Wonder how my life will turnout.
I hear him cry.
I see nothing at all.
I want to make things right.

I am a basketball player. I am a softball player.
Pretend everything is okay.
Feel a gentle breeze of happiness.
Touch fading faith.
Worry about what he is doing.
Cry myself to sleep.

I am a basketball player. I am a softball player.
Understand your doubts.
Say they are lies.
Dream of us together once again.
Try to do my best.
Hope the pain slowly fades.
I am a basketball player. I am a softball player.
