Books have forever changed my life

They transport me to a different time and place

And allow me to escape from strife

Books allow for a change of pace

From life's monotonous days

But imagine if books could be a career

Imagine a life where reading pays

Becoming an editor is a future I don't fear

Reading and editing books

Getting them ready for release

Finding something with all the right hooks

To keep an audience on the edge of their seats

This is my life's dream

One I will never stop working for

With a job like this it does not seem

That I could ask for any more
