They call him different
They call him an abomination
Just because of who he loves
What is wrong with that?

His father can't look at him
His mother cried when he told them
He was no longer their son
He was all alone

Years come and go
He hasn't spoke to them in so long
Two new people are his family now
His husband and their son

Capital Hill is signing it today
Accepting them for who they are
They all stand side by side
Like the colors in a rainbow
