Laying on the ground

Searching for a heart

 

He looks to you for a little more

He hasn' bathed in at least a month

He sits in his tatters

Looking to you for guidance

 

He is wearing his old Army coat

Basically destroyed now

Like his life

 

I am not asking for you to take them home

Merely think

What if it was you?

 

At least give him a little change

Give him a chance to buy some socks

Let him get a cup of warm coffee on a cold night

 

At the very least,

think about if it was you

in that position....
