The Game We Play
Location
One, two, three,
Four, five, six.
Look in the mirror,
Lick your lips.
Pluck and pull,
Scrub and conceal.
Watch what you eat,
Don't eat that meal.
Why do we play
This terrible game?
Where we go out and hide
Our true beauty in shame?
If there was one thing
That I could change,
Though it's probably
A little strange,
I'd change the way
We perceive ourselves.
Because we aren't dolls
Just sitting on shelves.
