Divorce Never Ends
A choice was made when I was small
A judge made it final; a judge made the call
one home no longer; my family in free fall
My parents splt up, but I don't recall.
The fire burned out before I could remember
However, my life remains dismembered
My childhood was always cold like December
If only they never put out the embers.
I've lived wthout a stable foundation
I've suffered so much frustation
My parents live in damnation
There will never be a cessation.
But something has stirred, something survived
A passion for God; a Savior who is alive
I'll aspire for more, a marriage that will strive
I want only one home for my future child to thrive.
