Prove Them Wrong

Your grades are good, just not good enough.

You may apply but I would not get your hopes up.

Perhaps you should aim at a less traveled path.

Every step, every move, every thought, every night

Darkness and self-doubt clouded her potential.

what if she is right? she thought.

What if I am not good enough?

Fast forward four years and she is still not done.

A struggle or two but that is alright.

She has found faith and there is no stopping her now.
