I like to stay up until midnight,
Though sometimes it gives me a good fright,
And at the witching hour,
I hear the bell tower
There once was a man named Daedalus
Known as a dentist of excellence
He sampled some Vicodin
Now he’s imprisoned in
A habit of common excrescence
A habit which started with booze
In a forest not far from the sea
A monkey swings high on a tree.
It laughs and it shouts
And leaps all about
Jumping and feeling carefree.
Trapt away for a long time in the castle tower
A dragon keeping the place locked up tight every hour
Dressed head-to-toe in the finest clothes
Waiting for the hero's pose
Trapt away for a long time in the castle tower
A dragon keeping the place locked up tight every hour
Dressed head-to-toe in the finest clothes
Waiting for the hero's pose
Here in the proud U.S.A,
Where the brave and free call home today
We’re really not free, at least not yet
Not until we’ve settled our national debt
With friends and enemies who think we can’t pay
There once was a cat
who can copy any act!
She can mimic your move
Know your grooves,
And she isn't a Copycat!
Here’s a silly poem I came up with. Disclaimer: It is NOT to be taken seriously. I was inspired by a Limerick poem which is meant to be silly and weird. Often times they make little to no sense at all.
