From a young age, we female-bodied people are taught many things:   That our worth will not depend on who we are inside, but instead on The size of our waists,
It’s that punched in the stomach about to throw up stressed out kind of feeling That way they looked at you made your skin crawl kind of feeling That kiss you never saw coming and by the time you realized what was happening
  You put words in my mouth, You shut my spirit, close my world,
I can do a push-up.Not the modified, girl kind;The "boy" ones, with my feet and all.But this is not a poem about me.
