There is no freedom here, not really anyway
You want your God?
Please, take it as it’s never answered any of our prayers
At school the other day, I was asked not to pray.
It rocked me and shocked me. What could I say?
I am but a student that is meant to obey.
But did they have the right to ask me not to pray?
Stuck under the microscope
Pins through wrists and feet
Dried lips once muttered how to cope
And conquered Death’s compete
