‘Temper your enthusiasm,’
She said,
‘The extremes of your reactions;
You should have
A more conventional frame
On which to hang
Your unconventionality.’
‘Don’t push people,’
She said,
You hurt me!
Surely you can imagine
That ghastly, glorious surprise --
Occam's razor sliced through faith's abdomen,
And ushered in its final demise.
Should I curse or thank you?
Listen to me, you apathetic, groggy naysayer of the morn,
Downcast with your expression baggy-eyed and forlorn;
Get up and get going, nurse your lethargy no more!
One loving father is strong enough
to care for his hundred sons
zeal and enthusiasm are his weapons
to make their dreams come true
thunderstorm and typhoon don’t dare
repel him from his ultimate mission
